Remove Security Manager manually on a single device

Remove Security Manager if it is not required or if you need to reinstall the software.

If you want to remove Security Manager from multiple devices, see Remove Security Manager manually on multiple devices.

If you want to remove Security Manager from a client, see Uninstall AV Defender from a client.

1. Click View> All Devices.
2. Click the name of the device.
3. Click Settings > Security Manager.
4. Click the Enable Security Manager check box to clear the checkbox.
5. Click Save.

N-able N-central will remove Security Manager from the device. This can take 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

If you want to re-install, repeat the above steps to enable Security Manager.
