Warranty Status monitoring

Description
- There is a common issue where the Warranty Status is not desired for monitoring certain devices. Removing the service on unwanted devices, either manually or via a Service Template does not work as the service returns automatically.
Environment
- N-able N-central 9.5.x and later
Solution
Note: This option should be accessed from the Service Organization level or lower and is not available on the System level.
Under Administration > Defaults > Warranty Monitoring, there is an option for Monitor Warranty Expiry Date. If selected, N-able N-central will automatically apply the Warranty Status service to all devices in or below that level, and re-apply it if the service is removed.
Deselecting it will prevent the service from being applied to devices automatically, and can only be applied manually or by a Service Template.
Selecting the Propagate option before saving ensures that all current agent will get the updated setting.
Important: | Warranty monitoring is not possible for macOS devices at current time. Any Mac devices will not be able to show warranty information as a result. |
