Using PING to verify probe monitored Connectivity

Description

Ping is a valid test to confirm the probe's ability to monitor Connectivity. On occasion, a 'Connectivity' service being monitored by a probe against a internal address of a device may show as failed.

Environment

• N-able N-central with installed Probe

Solution

1. Log in to the probe.
2. Open CMD.
3. Ping the devices address.

Note: When submitting a case regarding the Connectivity service please attach a screenshot of the results of these tests from the Probe.
