This article addresses the issue where an Unknown Error is encountered when trying to remote desktop a device in N-able N-central .

Environment

All N-able N-central versions

Solution

  1. Create a back up of Desktop.rdp to Desktop.rdp.old
  2. Delete Desktop.rdp
    Note: The default location is in the Documents folder on your local drive.
  3. Retry the connection.
