This requires editing the Registry. Below are the keys related to the Windows Probe that you will need to remove if they are still present after the uninstall has completed.
- Click Start > Run and type Regedit.exe
- Browse to the following folders:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Solarwindsmsp Technologies Inc. Windows Probe
- To completely remove all files related to Patch Management, remove the C:\Program Files\N-able Technologies\NablePatchCache folder. Verify that the NablePatchCache folder is the one used to store all of the downloaded software patches. It is possible that these may be stored on a network shared drive as configured in N-able N-central under Probes/Cache Location.
Note: The device may need to be re-started after the procedure described above has been completed.
