Description

This article describes how to uninstall N-able Report Manager.

Environment

  • N-able N-central
  • N-able Report Manager

Solution

You can uninstall N-able Report Manager through the Windows Control Panel, the N-able Report Manager setup.exe file, or Windows Start menu.

Before you uninstall, you must delete a data source to enable the data source for regular data export for N-able N-central.

When you uninstall N-able Report Manager, the following are removed:

  • Agent responsible for self-monitoring
  • Web server components
  • N-able Report Manager Maintenance Service
  • Program files

Uninstall N-able Report Manager
Make sure that the account you are using has the sysadmin role in the SQL database, or else the uninstall may not complete.

  1. On the N-able Report Manager server, delete the following databases using SQL Server Management Studio:
    1. config
    2. staging
    3. warehouse
  2. Close SQL Server Management Studio.
  3. Remove N-able Report Manager using the Windows Control Panel.
  4. When prompted, restart your computer.

Uninstall N-able Report Manager using the N-able Report Manager installation package

  1. Navigate to the setup.exe file and double-click it.
  2. When the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard appears, click Next.
  3. When the Remove the Program screen appears, click Remove.
  4. When the Uninstalling N-able Report Manager screen appears, click Finish.
  5. When prompted, restart the server to complete the process.
