Unable to apply Service Template with HTTPS Service, due to "No Asset Information available"

Description

  • When attempting to apply a Service Template with HTTPS Monitoring Service, it fails because of "No Asset Information available"

Environment

  • N-able N-central

Solution

  • This happens when port 443 is not open, which you will find the port not listed in the Device Details > Asset > Ports section
  • The HTTPS Service can still be added on the device by doing the following:
  1. Navigate to Configuration > Monitoring > Service Templates
  2. Click the name of the Service Template in question
  3. Select the HTTPS Monitoring Service
  4. Uncheck the Use Asset Info option
  5. Select Save
  6. Select Save
  7. Re-apply the Service Template to the device
