Description

  • Testing an email's delivery allows you to send a test email and verify that the email system is set up correctly. You must specify the sender and recipient email addresses, subject and message. N-able N-central returns a log of the send mail service.

Solution

  1. In the navigation pane, click Administration > Mail Network Settings.
  2. Click Test Email Delivery.
  3. Type the Sender Email Address from which you would like to send the test e-mail.
  4. Type the Recipient Email Address, using commas (,) to separate multiple e-mail addresses.
  5. Type the Subject of the test email.
  6. Type the Message of the test email.
  7. Click Send Email.

After N-able N-central sends the test email, you can click the link provided on the Test Email Delivery screen to review the Mail Log. You can also view 'maillog' by clicking Administration Utilities > View Logs.
