N-central Troubleshooting
Take Control shows as "not configured for the device", downloading exe installer shows as 'DownloadStatus=Failed. Please check the checksum' even though the device can access sis.n-able.com

Description
- Take Control shows as "not configured for the device"
- APCSIS.log shows the download failed, but GenericFiles.xml is up to date:

- [SIS Download Manager2] com.nable.agent.framework.Communication.SIS.SISClient File is invalid:C:\Program Files (x86)\N-able Technologies\Windows Agent\Temp\GenericFiles\MSPA\MSPAWINInstaller\6.77.46.0\MSPA4NCentral-7.00.05-20190502.exe. Please check the checksum.

Environment

Solution
- Although GenericFiles.xml is up to date, which holds the download links for the feature installations, it's still showing download failure for the Take Control installer
- This is most likely due to the customer's firewall not allowing exe file downloads
- Please ensure the firewall allows for exe downloads from http://sis.n-able.com
