Description

• BASupSrvc_20180101.log (date will change to match the day of logging) contains the following or similar error:

2018-01-01 15:02:12:743 {3316} [ComServerHTTPS] -  HTTP Exception during POST comserver.us1.mspa.n-able.com - Socket Error # 11002

• Integrated Take Control

Solution

• Socket Error 11002 is generally caused by a "Host Not Found" error and is not specific to Take Control.
• This error results from a network or DNS issue and in the case of the Take Control error above means that the comserver can't be found by FQDN or doesn't have a valid route.
• Network, firewall, or dns settings may need to be investigated to resolve the problem.
