• How can we manually install a Take Control Agent in a macOS device?

Environment

• N-able N-central
• Take Control

Solution

1. First you should download the Take Control Agent through this Link: https://swi-rc.cdn-sw.net/n-central/updates/mac/5.98.95/MSPA_N-central_Installer_5.98.95.zip
2. Extract the content of the .zip file you just downloaded
3. Run the following command to install the Take Control Agent: sudo /PATH_TO_APP/MSPA N-able N-central Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/MSPA N-able N-central Installer -s -mspid XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

• (PATH_TO_APP) is the folder to where you unziped the Agent Installer
• The MSPID may be found in a Windows Take Control Agent in: C:\ProgramData\GetSupportService_N-Central\BASupSrvc.ini
