Run a File on a Host from N-able N-central

Description

You can run files like scripts, automation policies, and installers on a host from N-able N-central, e.g. bat, ps1, vbs, amp, exe, and msi files.

Environment

N-able N-central 10+

Solution

To run a script, browse to 'Actions' > 'Run a Script'
To run an Automation Policy, browse to 'Actions' > 'Run an Automation Policy'
To run an exe or a msi, browse to 'Actions' > 'Push Third Party Software'

If your device is not listed in the Targets tab, "Enable Scheduled Tasks" on the device ('Views' > 'All Devices' >'Network Devices' > 'Reset Filter' > 'Select Your Device' > 'Settings' > 'Properties' > 'Enable Scheduled Tasks')

There are other ways of running a file on a host:
