Restore N-able N-central server backup

Description

• This article describes how to restore a backup if the N-able N-central server installation becomes corrupt.

Environment

• N-able N-central 10 and later

Solution

1. Set-up a new N-able N-central server with the same version and time zone as the original N-able N-central server.

• N-able N-central Server installation ISO is available from N-ableMe. Please know you must be logged in to access this page.

2. To restore the backup:

• Navigate to the System level.
• Click Administration> System Backup and Restore> Restore Backup.
• Set the Restore Method: to 'From My Computer'.
• For Backup File Name: click on Browse and select your backup file.
• Remove the check mark from Include Network Information.
• Click Save.
