Description

This article describes how to restart Probe services on the probe device.

Environment

Windows Probe
N-able N-central all version

Solution

Load the Services list (Run command > services.msc).
Locate and STOP the Windows Software Probe Service.
Locate and START the Windows Software Probe service.

You can also use a schedule task via N-able N-central to STOP\START|RESTART the same service.

Be sure to specify the action STOP\START|RESTART in the Command Line Parameters
