Description

• The following error message appears when trying to generate a report within Report Manager:
  • Error: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.
• ?Report Manager is installed on either Windows XP SP2 or Windows Server 2003 SP1

Environment

• N-able N-central
• Report Manager

Solution

• There is an issue with older OS, i.e. Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1, regarding Microsoft's SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
