Report Manager Data Sync Issue - Data export is disabled

Description

  • Received a email regarding data export disabled.
Error: Data export from N-able N-central to Report Manager has not occurred for two months. In order to maintain the operational stability of N-able N-central, data export has been disabled in N-able N-central.
This allows N-able N-central to expire old data on the regular schedule.

  • N-able N-central

Solution

  • By Default if the N-able N-central server will disable data exports if the N-able N-central server has not successfully exported data in the last 60 days.
  • Unfortunately because Data export has been disabled it is recommended to uninstall Report Manager and delete the databases, re-install Report Manager adding a new datasource.
  1. Uninstall Report Manager from Program and Features in Control Panel on the Report Manager server.
  2. In sql management studio delete the ODS, Config, staging and warehouse databases.
  3. Re-install the latest version of Report Manager and add a new datasource. ?
