• Is the N-able N-central agent compatible with Server 2016 Core?

Environment

• N-able N-central
• Windows Server 2016 Core

Solution

• Due to compatibility issues and native requirements for .NET Framework components, Server 2016 Core is not a supported installation for the agent.
• Manually installing the .NET Framework components may allow the agent to install, but full functionality is not expected due to overall compatibility.
• Best alternative would be to use a probe and monitor via SNMP or other similar options.
