Description

Environment
- Cove Data Protection
N-able RMM
- Managed Online Backup
- N-able N-central
- N-able Backup
Solution
- It is not possible to remove a file from the backup sessions you can only remove all if needed by following steps below:
- Edit the datasource, e.g. Files and Folders, in the Backup Manager
- Click clear selection > click OK
- A pop up asks:
- Clear selection
- Are you sure you want to clear selection?
- Select yes if you want to go through this process for clearing selection
- Note: This will remove all data backed up and will not be recoverable
- Pop up asks:
- Please, confirm!
- The "Files and folders" has been excluded from backup. Do you want to delete the backup data belonging to this data source?
- Select yes if you would like to exclude and continue
- Pop up asks:
- Force Cleaning Confirmation
- All the backup data belonging to the "Files and folders" data source will be permanently deleted, including archived sessions. It won't be possible to recover any of the "Files and folders" data after that. The action is irreversible. Are you sure you want to continue?

- Press OK
- If the platform is N-able RMMthe encryption key can be found here
