N-able Backup: Cannot apply LocalSpeedVault credentials from profile and LocalSpeedVault shows Failed status

Description
- Cannot apply LocalSpeedVault credentials from profile
- LocalSpeedVault shows Failed status
Environment

- Backup & Recovery Web Console
- N-able N-central
Solution
This is a deliberate design decision to prevent data loss from the profile applying the incorrect LSV credentials when the LSV is not fully synchronized.- Disable device profile
- In Backup & Recovery Web Console, select device checkbox in dashboard > Assign Profile > choose No profile
- In N-able N-central, go to All Devices > select device > Settings > Backup Management > Configuration > Set Settings Manually
- Restart Backup Service Controller on affected device to apply changes
- Alternatively, wait 15 minutes and changes will be applied automatically
- Change LSV details via the Backup Manager to correct location and credentials to restart synchronization
- Re-apply profile
- Reverse changes made in step 1
- Once LSV is fully synchronized changes can be made from profile
