Solution

You may see a similar message when attempting to upload items to the N-able N-central Script Software Repository

"You have 8.97 MB of free space remaining out of 476.84 MB capacity in the repository. Files for upload must not exceed 500 MB." This message prevents you from uploading the item to the N-able N-central Script Software Repository

There are 2 types of items that are contained within the Report Manager Script Software Repository

Permanent items and Temporary items

Permanent items can be deleted by browsing to Configuration > Scheduled Tasks > Script/Software Repository and placing a check mark in the applicable item and then by clicking delete.

Temporary items (uploaded from My Computer when creating the task) cannot be manually deleted, but the tasks can be deleted from Configuration > Scheduled Tasks > Add/Delete.

The Temporary items will then be purged if:

2 nightly maintenance cycles have completed, AND Report Manager export is up to date.

Otherwise, the Temporary items will be purged automatically after 30 days, though the tasks will remain.
