Description
This article provides steps to monitor a Cisco ASA 5505 device.
Environment
N-able N-central version 9.5 and later
Solution
1. Enable SNMP from the Cisco ASA 5505. Take note of the version and community string.
2. N-able N-central must have a Professional Network License.
3. Enable SNMP in N-able N-central for this device. Go to Device > Settings > Monitoring Options > SNMP (same Version and Community string with the physical device) Cisco ASA 5505.
4. Go Device > Monitoring > Service Template > Add New Service Template (Cisco ASA) > OK > Save.
