Take Control Viewer does not load

Description

This article describes the issue where the progress bar for Launching Take Control Remote Access does not complete and Take Control Viewer fails to load:

Environment

  • N-able N-central 10.2+
  • Operator device that does not have the Take Control viewer installed

Solution

This is often caused by a browser cache issue not properly downloading the installer for the MSP connect viewer.

Clear the cache and cookies OR use your browser in private/incognito mode.
