Description

  • Is there any way to retrieve the chat logs from a remote session with after the Take Control connection has ended

Environment

  • N-able N-central
  • Take Control

Solution

  • There is a way to see the chat log from a remote control session.
    1. After the session has ended go into the Device in N-able N-central and click on Audit Trail.
    2. In the pop up click on the Session Logs: Click here for that session. In the window that opens up there is a section for the chat that will display the conversation.
    3. At the right side of Chat, click on the + sign
    4. If the chat was not used on the session then the button will be grayed out.
