IP address not updating into N-able N-central or Connectivity service in a Failed state

Description
- When a Windows/Linux/Mac device has an agent installed, an old IP address is displayed in the Device Overview or device properties instead of the devices actual current IP address.
- Connectivity service is in a failed state because N-able N-central or the probe is reaching to this old address.
Environment
- N-able N-central
Solution
- Check to ensure the Update Monitored Address is enabled.
- Otherwise N-able N-central will not update the IP address after initial installation/Discovery.
- Note also: For this feature to work properly, the Local IP service must first be applied to the device.
