How to update SNMP Community String of multiple devices

Description

• Need to update SNMP Community String of multiple devices.

Environment

• N-able N-central

Solution

• There are 2 options to update SNMP Community String of multiple devices:
  • Through a Discovery Job:
    1. Create a Discovery Job that will target your devices.
    2. Configured the SNMP Settings of the said Discovery job and supply the updated or new Community String
  • Via the 'All Devices' view:
    1. Go to All Devices view
    2. Select all devices that you want to update the SNMP Community String
    3. Click Edit
    4. Under Monitoring Options, check the USE SNMP option
    5. Supply or update the Community String
    6. Click Save
