  • How to synchronize N-able N-central System Time to UTC via NTP

Environment

  • N-able N-central 10 or later

Solution

  1. Synchronize the date and time of the N-able N-central at the SystemLevel >Mail Network Settings > Network Setup.
  2. From here you will find the Date and Time options where you can select the appropriate time zone and time server (NTP).
  3. Once provided click Synchronize and the Save the settings.
    1. Note: In N-able N-central 2020.1 and later, there is no Synchronize button; once NTP settings are saved the N-able N-central server will be constantly synced with the NTP server as long as it is reachable.
  4. If there is any issue, you will want to troubleshoot the environment.
  5. To do this: in the left-hand navigation menu, click System Settings > Tools > Test DNS Availability OR Test TCP Port Connectivity.
