How to load Java Console

  • When troubleshooting Java based remote control, the Java console may need to be loaded so that output can be viewed and shared with support.

Solution

Java console output may be necessary from time to time in order to troubleshoot Java based remote control. To open the console as Java web launcher starts, follow these steps
  1. Open 'Control Pannel'
  2. Open 'Java' applet
  3. Click the 'Advance' tab
  4. Place a check mark in 'Enable Tracing'
  5. Place a check mark in 'Enable logging'
  6. Place a bullet in 'Show Console'
  7. Click 'OK'
When you launch a Java based remote control session the Java console will now open and contents can be copied and pasted.
