How to get a report of all Installed Software on devices

Description
- Is there a report that can show me all of the installed software on a device?
Environment
- N-able N-central
- (optional) Report Manager
Solution
- There are two reporting options to see what software is installed on devices:
- The Detailed Asset Report in N-able N-central.
- The Software Inventory Report in Report Manager (which is an add-on product for on-premises N-able N-central customers).
- To access the Detailed Asset Report in N-able N-central please do the following:
- At Customer Level you want to report on, go to Reports > Asset > Detailed Asset
- Select the devices you want to report on.
- Click View Report, Export or Email to generate the report.
- Note that this will kick out a very large amount of information. The best way to then focus this down to the information you want is:
- Export this report to CSV format
- Open the CSV file in Excel (or a spreadsheet application of your choosing)
- Using the data tab, filter on the columns to isolate the information you want to report on.
- To access the Software Inventory Report please do the following:

- At the SO Level or Customer Level, go to the Reports Menu on the left.
- Select Report Manager
- Select Managed Assets
- Scroll down and select the Software Inventory Report.
- Select the Customer or Site, or Multiple Customers and Sites.
- Select the additional report options as needed.
- Select the format you want to receive the report in.
- Select Generate Report
