Environment

• All versions of N-able N-central

Solution

1. In the left-hand navigation menu, click System Settings > Product Settings > Device Classes.
2. Click Add New.
3. Fill in the Device Class Name with the New Device Class Name.
4. Select Service Type (eg. TCP). Learn more: List of Service Types per Default Device Class (scroll down toService types by device class.).
5. Click OK.
6. You will now see the New Device Class created from the list.

The New Device Class will require and use a Professional Server license.
