How to auto-import devices which are under the Discovered Assets section

Description

• When I install an agent on a machine, it is placed in "Import Discovered Assets" section
• Looking to have these imported into the All Devices view automatically

Environment

• N-able N-central

Solution

• Devices may not be automatically imported due to:
  • There were not enough licenses available during the time of import for the device
  • The device class is not selected to be automatically imported, under Administration > Defaults > Discovery Defaults
    • NOTE: More information on this can be found here:
      • Configure the defaults when discovering and importing devices
• To resolve, please do the following:
  1. Run a License Usage report at the SO level (under Reports > Administrative > License Usage Report) to ensure there are enough licenses
  2. Check the Discovery Defaults (under Administration > Defaults > Discovery Defaults) if the device class is included under the Auto Import section
