Environment

  • N-able N-central

Solution

  1. Under the SO Level, go to Administration > User Management > User Accounts
  2. Click Add
  3. Create a user, filling in the Login Name (email address you wish to send the alert notification to) and the password
  4. Fill in the user's First Name and Last Name
  5. Select Configuration > Monitoring > Notifications
  6. Select the Notification Profilein question
  7. Add the user to the Selected Recipients column
  8. Select Save
  • Continue doing steps 7 and 8 for the relevant Notification Profiles you wish for this user to be associated to.
  • Any number of recipients may be added as users in this way to receive notifications, or distribution groups to cover multiple users.
    • We recommend SO level accounts to avoid complications with Customers and Sites.
