How to See When A Patch Is Scheduled To Install in the Patch Approval log

Description
- The following article outlines where to view scheduled installations in the Patch Approval logs.
Environment
- N-able N-central
Solution
- In Patch Approval logs, you will see the following entries:
- (178) Approval[Install] Current State[Complete] InstallError[] Title[Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3086255)]
- (53) Approval[Install] Current State[OnSchedule] InstallError[] Title[Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3042058)]
- (181) Approval[Install] Current State[Now] InstallError[] Title[Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3134214)]
- Please see below for the definitions from the above:
- CurrentState: Information on the status of the patch for the device
- Complete: Patch is already installed on the device
- OnSchedule: Patch is scheduled to be installed as per the Patch Installation Schedule
- Now: Patch to be installed immediately
- NOTE: The default location for the PatchApproval.log can be found under C:\Program Files (x86)\N-able Technologies\Windows Agent\log\PatchApproval.log
