How to Change a device license

Description

• This article provides the steps to change your license from Essential to Professional or from Professional to Essential.

Environment

• N-able N-central 10.0 or later

Solution

For an individual device:

1. Select the Device > Settings Tab > Properties > License Mode.
2. Set the license as desired.
3. Click Save.

Via bulk editing:

1. From the All Devices view, select the devices for which you want to change the license.
   
2. Click Edit.
   
3. Under the Configurations Options > License Mode, change the license as desired.
