How do you change the network address of devices

Description

• When devices are imported to N-able N-central , the device's network address can be shown in IP Address or FQDN format
• How do you change the network address of devices

Environment

• N-able N-central

Solution

• To change the network address of devices, please do the following:
  • Method 1, bulk editing (affects current devices only):

1. Under the SO Level (orange level) in left panel, select All Devices
2. Select all the required devices by selecting the relevant checkbox
3. Select Edit
4. Under Device Settings, select the Network Address dropdown
5. Select IP Address
6. Select Save

• Method 2, changing discovery defaults (affects future devices only)

1. Go to Administration > Defaults > Discovery Defaults
2. Change the Network Address default
