• How can I revert to a backup mode from a restore-only one in the Backup Manager?

Environment

• Cove Data Protection

• N-able RMM

  • Backup & Recovery
• N-able N-central
  • N-able Backup

Solution

1. Stop the Backup Service Controller service
2. Open the config.ini file located in C:\Program Files\Backup Manager and change ReadOnlyMode=1 to ReadOnlyMode=0
3. Start the Backup Service Controller service again
