Description

  • Help Desk Manager HDM - Unable to Import CA reply - the public key of the ca reply does not match the public key of the key entry
  • This error is indicating the CSR and Certificate don't match, or in other words, the public key in the local keystore does not match the public key of the certificate (aka CA reply) you are attempting to import.

Environment

  • N-able Help Desk Manager

Solution

  1. Right click the keypair > Generate CSR.
  2. Submit the updated CSR to the CA for signing.
  3. When returned, import the new, matching certificate: right-click keypair > import CA reply.
