Description

  • When generating a report in Report Manager the following error occurs 'rsItemNotFound'
  • When running a report you may receive the following error (rsItemNotFound)
  • For example:
    • The item '/Reports/Executive Summary Report' cannot be found. (rsItemNotFound)

Environment

  • N-able N-central
  • Report Manager

Solution

  • Either the report hasn't published correctly or there's a permissions issue when attempting to generate the report
  • To resolve, please do the following:
    1. Open Internet Explorer as administrator
    2. Browse to localhost/reports
    3. Select the Reports folder
    4. Locate the report you are receiving the error on.
  • If the report does not exist, then please uninstall and reinstall Report Manager to allow the report to publish properly
  • If the report does exist under localhost/reports
    1. Open the Report Manager administration console
    2. Go to System Setup and Logs > Advanced Settings
    3. Change the Settings.ReportServerURL to 'localhost'
    4. Select Update
    5. Select Push Settings to All Datasources
    6. Attempt running the report again
