Description
- A feature update for windows 10 has been installed but there was no prompt to users asking for permission to reboot.
- There's also no maintenance window for patch reboot configured to the device.
Environment
- N-able N-central
- N-able RMM
- Windows 10 Operating System
- Patch Management
Solution
- Microsoft patches classified as "upgrades" may require a reboot during their installation.
- These reboots are part of the actual installation process of the patch and cannot be scheduled or interrupted by N-able N-central/RMM Patch Management.
- When approved for install, the reboot associated to patches in the Upgrade classification (Such as the Anniversary 1607 update) will happen during the installation phase of your maintenance window.
