Exclude Mac Address in Discovery jobs

Description

This document shows how to exclude a Mac Address in Discovery jobs.

Environment

• N-able N-central 10.x and later

Solution

1. Go to Administration > Defaults > Discovery Defaults
2. Under the section "MAC ADDRESSES TO EXCLUDE" click on Add New Mac Address.
3. Fill in the description and the Mac address you want to exclude in the appropriate boxes.
   • .* - Wildcard The format must be regular expression.
   • ^ - means it must "begin with"
4. Click on Save at the bottom of the page.
