Display the ESXi host Memory Status using the Managed Object Browser

Description

  • This article discusses how to pull memory status information for the ESXi host to verify that the information in N-able N-central matches that of the date stored on the ESXi host.

Environment

  • N-able N-central
  • ESXi 4.5 and later

Solution

  • Display the Properties table through the Managed Object Browser (MOB). Refer to Using the MOB to Explore the Object Model.
  • Display the Memory Status information by clicking content > rootFolder > childEntity > hostFolder > childEntity > host > runtime > healthSystemRuntime > hardwareStatus > memoryStatusInfo.

In-case the Managed object browser is disabled, you can enabled it with steps from VMware.
