Device Defaults - Use SNMP SysName as Discovered Name

N-able N-central version 10.x and newer

Solution

Before this feature was added, network devices were named with the IP address. This feature allows N-able N-central to display the SNMP SYSNAME value of the network device.

This is an option because you can configure sysname for windows devices and we did not want to change the windows discovery process unless it was forced.
