Delete old devices in N-able N-central

Description
This article provides steps on how to delete old devices in your N-able N-central .
Environment
- All supported versions of N-able N-central
Solution
1. By default, we have the Agent check-in greater than 30 days filter. This is available in your dropdown already. Go to the ALL DEVICES view to show you anything that hasn't reported back 30 days and older. This means that the device is either replaced, offline, or possible needs the agent repaired.
2. Create a new filter to determine the length/period of time the agent has last checked in. Click CREATE NEW FILTER.
3. Name your filter and select:
DEVICE - AGENT LAST CHECK IN - GREATER THAN - X (however many days you care about).
4. Use the newly created filter to show your old devices:
- go to customer level
- Click on all devices,
- on the main UI click on filter and choose your newly created filter.
- Check to verify if the filtered devices are the old devices.
- click on the box beside the devices or click on the box beside customer to check all devices listed.
- click Delete
