Configure User Account Session Timeout

Description

  • This article provides steps on how to configure the new User Configuration for Session Timeout. Session timeout is the amount of time a user is idle and will be logged out.

Environment

  • N-able N-central

Solution

  • To change the default session timeout, please do the following:
    1. Select Administration
    2. Select Defaults
    3. Select User Defaults
    4. For the Session Time Out option, change to your desired value
    5. Select Save
  • To change a particular user's session timeout, please do the following:
  1. Select Administration
  2. Select User Management
  3. Select Users
  4. For the user in question, select their login name
  5. Select User Details
  6. Select User Information
  7. Under the Access section, edit the Session Time Out option
  8. Select Save
