• This article provides steps to set Take Control with Request User Permission by default for all devices

Environment

• N-able N-central
• Take Control

Solution

1. In the SO Level, go to Administration Menu.
2. Select Defaults Menu.
3. Click Remote Control Defaults.
4. Select the Device Class.
5. Check the box Install Take Control
6. In the Default Connection Properties drop-down, select Default Connection Type Take Control.
7. Select Request User Permission.
8. Select both boxes Propagate these changes to Customers/Sites : and Propagate these changes to existing devices :
9. Click Save.

• Repeat Step 4 to 8 to configure other device classes.
