Description

This article describes the steps which can be taken to rename your Service Organization.

Environment

N-able N-central (any version)

Solution

In order to change the name of your Service Organization, you'll need to perform the following steps:

1. Log into your N-able N-central server main UI using your productadmin account, this will allow you access to the red system level.
2. At the Red System level, expand out the Adminiistration menu.
3. Select the Service Organizations link.
4. Click the name of the Service Organization you wish to rename (in most cases, you will only have the one).
5. In the Customer Name: field, enter the new name of your Service Organization.
6. Click the green Save button at the bottom.


NOTE: If you're on one of the hosted servers (an NCOD), you will not have access to the system level and, therefore, will not be able to re-name your Service Organization. Please contact your Sales team to discuss this change further.
