Description
- How to change sender email address within notification templates
Environment
- N-able N-central
Solution
- In Service Organization Level, go to Administration Menu.
- Select Defaults Menu.
- Select Notification Templates.
- In Notifications Tab, scroll to each Message Templates and update the Sender Email Address.
- Go to each tab of the Edit Notification Templates and update the Sender email Address if necessary.
- Click Save.
- Note: This change can also be made at the Customer/Site level, but will only apply to Notification Recipients created at that level or lower.
- This means that if the sending address is modified at the customer level it will only be used for Customer or Site level users for Customer.
- This behavior also applies to the template as a whole for the notification.
- The relationship is designed to allow a general notification profile to be created at the Service Organization level (for example) but to have the template and sending address be customer specific to meet specified needs for that customer.
