Cannot Import Device in N-able N-central

Description

You will not be able to import a device if you do not have an available license.

or you have reached the limits for each customer.

  • N-able N-central 10+

Solution

Resolution

  1. Check your license usage. Go to Reports> Administrative> License Usage> Include Details> View Report.
  2. Set the import license mode to the mode with available licenses. For example, Actions> Add/Import Devices> Discovered Assets> Select assets> Set License Mode: Professional...
  3. Set the default discovery license type, browse to Administration> Defaults> Discovery Defaults> IMPORT LICENSE ALLOCATION...
    Note: SaaS devices use Professional Server licenses.

to check the limits and if you reach it :

1. You can generate the license usage report from the customer level and check it for this customer.

2. You can editt the limit from SO level > administration > customer.
