Description

  • Can we change the recipient e-mail address or Customized System Email since moving the NCOD server to AWS?

Environment

  • N-able N-central.

Solution

  • The change can be made but the email account must be valid and must be able to receive emails:

    • An authorization email must be sent from the N-able team to that account to allow it through the AWS filters.

    • To generate this email, please open a support ticket with the intended email address you wish to use.

    • The support team will have the authorization email generated which lasts for 24 hours and needs to be read and followed in that time.

  • If this change has been made without the above being done it can be changed back to a default value (admin@n-able.com), which support can assist with if the original was not made note of.
