• Backup Exec Monitoring Status shown as Misconfigured with error:"101 Invalid veritas Job GUID"
• NAlocalAssetDIscovery.log shows the following:

ERROR com.nable.agent.framework.localAssetScanner PopulateBackupInfo: BackupExec: A network error or a copy-specific error occurred while connecting to SQL Server. The server was not found or is not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that external connections are allowed in the SQL Server settings. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open connection to SQL Server) Is Null (or) Empty Value

Solution

1. Ensure the instance of the Backup Exec exists under the following registry key:
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\Instance Names\SQL?
2. Check the relevant ports and IPs to allow the device to connect to the SQL server
