Description

• An Automation Policy fails to run on a device due to the full error given below:
  • Current version of Automation Manager (2.13.0.2) is too old to run this policy. Minimum required version: 2.14.0.2
  • This policy cannot be run as it used objects which are newer than your agent version. Please update your agents or modify the policy to exclude the newer objects. Please review Automation Manager documentation for additional assistance.

Solution

• This shows that one or more of the objects used in the Automation Policy is above the version compatible with the targeted Agent.
• You will need to do either of the following:
  • Update the policy so the objects are compatible with the older Windows Agent version
  • Upgrade the Windows Agent on the device to the newer version.
